STUDY PROGRAMS & FURTHER EDUCATION
From the winter semester 2022/23 on, the CCD offers three study programs. It is also the only university in Germany which offers the chance to write a doctoral dissertation in dance studies. The BA Dance forms the core with its basic education and is complemented and continued by the MA Dance Studies program.
The study programs at the CCD dedicate themselves to the creative and critical negotiation of what dance, dance studies, dance dissemination and choreography means to contemporary society. In addition, the CCD considers itself as a centre for dance research which, in collaboration with other institutions and partners, expands knowledge of the body, movement, dance and performance.
